Formboards are starting to go up

They blocked off my other view, so I guess I will have to take photos from here, for now.

Empty Lot

The front yard trees are all gone, but we will be keeping the three back yard trees. It looks like the branch from the tree on the property line is going to have to go too, sometime soon.

These trees are not long for this world...

These trees are all just a little poorly placed, so they are all going to have to go...

SOLD!!!!!

The sign has been up for a while, but we had to wait until the ground was dry enough to stand on. You can see the water in the background, our own little mosquito breeding ground.

Daich Coatings - SpreadStone

This looks like an interesting product. It comes in paint cans and can either be pre-colored, or tinted. You spread it like, I dunno, spackle or something. They used it in a really ugly room in a trading spaces episode that Amy made me watch. You can lay out painters tape and multiple layers to simulate grout lines, and you can texture and paint it. It looks like you can get some good results, and it says that it is waterproof, and suitable for use indoors, even on shower walls. I just might have found a wall covering for my steam shower.

Google Maps

Google Thanks to Google buying the keyhole satellite, we now have a newer picture of the area where our house will be.

Mapquest seems to have the mapdata for our place, but I can't seem to get it to find directions, and it won't draw a map to or from latitude/longitude coordinates. The closest I can get it to go to is here, and at least you can see Mandarin Flyway, Silver Oak Trail, S Gadwall Lane, and Canvasback Trail to the north, if you zoom in. At least people can get approximate directions.
